Video calls with family away from Wi-Fi? Mac Starter is $19.99 with 2GB, and Mac Essential is $39.99 with 10GB. How much data you need shows which fits.
Why it is easy

Setting it up for a parent
Plenty of lines are set up by a son or a daughter. Order together, or call us with your parent on the line: we walk through the phone check, the number transfer and activation one step at a time. Write the account PIN down somewhere safe — we ask for it before anything on the line changes.
Staying safe from phone scams
Scammers call older people more than anyone. Mac Wireless will never call or text asking for your account PIN, a password, a one-time code, a gift card or remote access to your phone. No. There is no age-based plan or discount — the prices are the same for everyone. Mac Basic, at $15.00 a month with unlimited talk and text and 1GB of data, is already built for people who mostly call and text. No contract, no credit check.
Which plan fits someone who mostly calls and texts?
Mac Basic: $15.00 a month with unlimited talk and text and 1GB of high-speed data — enough for maps, email and photos away from Wi-Fi. If they video-call on cellular, Mac Starter ($19.99, 2GB) or Mac Essential ($39.99, 10GB) leaves more room.
Can I use a flip phone?
Some. A flip phone has to be unlocked and support voice over LTE, and many sold by carriers are locked to them. Enter its IMEI in the phone check before ordering — it answers in a minute, and nothing is charged for checking.
Is there a contract?
No. Mac Wireless plans are paid a month at a time, in advance, with no annual contract and no credit check. Activation is a one-time $29.99 per line, shown at checkout before you pay, and taxes and fees are listed there too.
Can I call instead of ordering online?
