How can we help?
Answers
Will my phone work on Mac Wireless?
Any unlocked iPhone or Android works. Enter the IMEI on the home page (dial *#06#) and we check it against all three networks before you pay anything.
How do I unlock my phone?
Ask your current carrier to unlock it — by law they must once the device is paid off and the account is in good standing (dial 611 or use their app; it can take up to 48 hours). Then run the phone check again.
Can I keep my number?
Yes, transfers are free and usually finish the same day. You need the name on your old account, the account number and the Number Transfer PIN from your old carrier. Keep the old service on until we email you.
How do I get a Number Transfer PIN?
Most carriers: text PORT to 611, or open their app → Account → Transfer PIN. Prepaid carriers often use the account PIN you set at signup.
How does eSIM activation work?
Choose eSIM at checkout. A QR code appears on the confirmation screen (and in your email). On iPhone: Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM → scan. On Android: Settings → Network → SIMs → Add → scan. Restart once and you are live.
My mailed SIM arrived — what now?
Put it in the phone, open checkout.html → “I already have a Mac Wireless SIM”, enter the ICCID printed on the card, and submit. Activation takes a few minutes.
Where is my order?
Use Order status with the order number from your confirmation email. It shows shipping, number transfer and activation in one timeline.
How much are taxes and fees?
Plans are priced before taxes and fees. Sales tax and the state E911 fee are added at checkout and on every bill — your ZIP sets the amount and you see the exact total before you pay.
How do I turn on autopay?
My Account → Billing → Autopay. Every bill is $5 less with autopay on. Turn it off any time.
How do I add a line?
My Account → Lines → Add a line. Each line after the first is $5 less every month, up to 5 lines.
What happens when I use all my high-speed data?
You keep going at reduced speed until the next cycle. There are never overage charges.
Can I change plans?
Yes — My Account → Plan. Changes take effect at the next bill; moving up takes effect right away.
What does device protection cover?
Cracked screens, liquid damage and failures outside the maker’s warranty, for $7.99/mo with a $49 service fee per claim (2 claims a year). Enroll within 30 days of activation or with a device purchase.
What is your return policy on devices?
See Returns & warranty — pre-owned devices carry a functional warranty; returns are accepted within the stated window in original condition.
How does financing work?
Pre-owned and in-stock devices can be financed with a 20% deposit and a soft credit check through all three bureaus; approvals usually come back within the hour during business hours.
Do you serve businesses?
Yes — multi-line accounts, Mac IoT data SIMs for fleets, cameras and POS, and home/business internet through Mac5G. Ask a specialist.
Where do you have coverage?
Nationwide on the Mac Crown, Apex and Orbit networks. Check any ZIP or full address on the coverage map before you commit.
Is there an outage right now?
The service status page shows activations, payments and alerts in real time. If your line is down, restart the phone first, then call us.
How do I reach a real person?
Call 866.729.9569, or send a message from the contact form — a specialist in McComb replies the same business day.
How will you contact me about my order?
By email, to the address on your account — order and shipping confirmations, activation and transfer status, bills and receipts. Mac Wireless does not send text messages. Update your email any time in My Account → Profile.
