Privacy Policy
Last updated September 3, 2026 · Mac Financial Tech Group, Inc., doing business as Mac Wireless Co.
What we collect
- Contact and account details — name, email, phone, service and shipping address, account PIN (stored hashed on the carrier platform and in our records), and the plan you chose.
- Device and line details — IMEI, SIM/eSIM ICCID, your Mac Wireless number, and usage totals for the current cycle (minutes, texts, data), which we get from the network to run your service and show you in the portal.
- Payments — card payments are handled by Stripe. We receive the card brand, last four digits and expiry to show you your card on file; we never receive or store the full card number.
- Financing applications — the information on the application including date of birth, income, Social Security number, an image of your government ID, and your electronic signature. The SSN and ID image are encrypted the moment they reach us and are deleted 30 days after a decision (90 days after submission if no decision is recorded).
- Messages you send us — contact-form messages, quote requests, preorders, "notify me" requests.
- Site data — the pages you visit and, if you consent to analytics, aggregated visit statistics. The site uses session storage for your cart and sign-in; it does not use advertising cookies.
Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI)
Federal law gives you the right to control the use of information about the wireless services you buy from us — the plan, features, usage and billing details known as CPNI. We use CPNI only to provide, bill and support your service, to protect against fraud, and to tell you about Mac Wireless plans and features you are eligible for. We do not sell CPNI or share it with third parties for their marketing. You can opt out of our own marketing use of CPNI at any time by calling us or from the portal; opting out does not affect your service.
To protect CPNI we verify your identity before discussing account details: your number and PIN in the portal or by phone, or government ID in person.
How we use information
- Activate, run, bill and support your line; ship devices; process payments and refunds.
- Run the soft credit check you authorize with the financing firm you chose, and complete the lease or financing you sign.
- Send transactional email: order and shipping confirmations, activation and transfer status, bills, receipts, financing updates. Mac Wireless does not send marketing or transactional text messages.
- Prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with the law, including lawful requests from law enforcement and emergency services (911 location).
- Improve the site and service using aggregated, non-identifying statistics.
Who we share it with
- Network operators — the wholesale network partners that carry your service receive the information required to activate and run your line (name, address for E911, IMEI, ICCID, plan).
- Stripe — payment processing; see stripe.com/privacy.
- Financing firms and credit bureaus — when you apply, the firm you chose receives your application and runs the soft inquiry with Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.
- Suppliers and shippers — the device supplier and carrier receive your name and shipping address to fulfil an order.
- Service providers — hosting (Render), email and text delivery, and error monitoring, each under contract to use the data only for us.
- Legal — where required by law, subpoena, or to protect our customers, staff or network.
- We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with data brokers or advertisers.
How long we keep it
Account and billing records are kept while your line is active and for the period required for tax and telecom recordkeeping afterwards (generally up to 7 years for billing records). Financing SSNs and ID images are deleted on the schedule above. Outbox copies of messages we send you are kept for 12 months. Contact-form messages are kept for 24 months.
Your choices and rights
- See and update your contact details in My Account at any time.
- Opt out of marketing use of CPNI by calling us.
- Ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it where we are not required to keep it — email or call us and we respond within 30 days after verifying your identity.
- Residents of states with privacy laws (for example California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and Texas) have additional rights to access, delete, correct and port their data and to appeal a decision; the same contact points handle those requests.
Security
Traffic to the site is encrypted (HTTPS). Sensitive financing fields are encrypted at rest with a key kept separate from the data. Admin access to customer records requires a key and a second factor, and access to decrypted SSNs and ID images is logged. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information we will notify you as the law requires.
Children
Our service is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; a parent or guardian can call us to remove it.
Changes and contact
We will post any change here with a new date and, for material changes, tell you in the portal or by email. Privacy questions: 1-866-729-9569, brandonmcdaniel@macfintechsolutions.com, or 1000 Highland Colony Parkway, Building 5000, STE 5203, McComb, MS 39648.
Your privacy choices
Mac Wireless does not sell your personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Analytics on this site, when switched on, is configured without advertising features. To ask what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it (subject to the records we must keep for billing, tax and E911), email brandonmcdaniel@macfintechsolutions.com from the address on your account or call 1-866-729-9569. Financing identity documents are deleted automatically after the retention period in the financing disclosures.
